The small versions of the Asteroid Rider measure 8″ in length each and are carved in styrofoam with details achieved with cardboard, craft paper, staples, screen, craft foam, wires, and moulded acrylic.

Two version of the same size were created. One was puppeted via a rod, the other by micro-filament.
